Making liquor for private use is legal same as beer or wine. Oddly enough the amount of liquor you can make, is the same as the amont of wine you can legally make; 50 gallons. Go figure!

Lack of coverage?CLARKcon wrote:Sorry to hear about your work schedule C.f.M.That sucks assholes!
I requested my time off for the event at the beginning of this month, WAY in advance so it gets approved early. I did the same request months in advance last year as well, and about two weeks before the trip to BRC, the bosses we're talking about declining my paid vacation due to "lack of coverage"...
(really? Get the fuck out!!)
My smile did not skip a beat as I told them I would call in sick every single day for the event days, sorry, don't know what to tell ya
For what?
Your mobile?
You do know what the primary drink was in places like that, don't you?ygmir wrote:I'd like to try making some, some day..........I've never tasted "moonshine".................
Just finished watching "Deadwood"............I do love that show.
They pour all the leftovers into a barrel.
That's the basic drink.
Called it grog or something.

Deadwood was one of the best ever. Some it very Shakspearean. AND very gritty. Wonderful language and dialog. Loved it!
Hope all you moms had a good one!
Sputnik is likely just about home now. We had a nice visit yesterday.
Time to sleep!

Morning gyre, how's the weather in your area? Beautiful day yesterday & should be today in NE Oregon...after about 2 1/2 weeks of constant rain/sleet/below freezing temp, I'm ready for a change. Plus it's easier to walk home from the bar when your not walking for survival . . .

Cc, I didn't know you're in NE Oregon.
I go that way to Washington, sometimes, up 395.
Luckily, my elevation is 2800', so, no snow here, just rain.
And, my gladiolas are just coming up, so, it'll be good for them.
Cherries and plumbs have already set fruit, so, all is well........

Yea, we sit about 2,500ft. here, very pretty friendly little valley. Grew up here (and after going across the states & back, plus living in Seattle) have never found such a sanctuary of nature. Maybe that's too intense a description, buuut, I suppose I have somewhat of a small town heart (with a big city mentality

how was your bday weekend LeChat? good hopefully, like Karine said...I wanna do over and a great day yesterday!
Believe it or not the weather was strange enough to let us pull off Mom's day Brunch. Glad that we opted to do everything in the oven.
Only after everyone had gorged themselves and was out in the camper for safety meeting did the sky open up and rain...we figured screw it we'll just hang out here till it stops...10 minutes tops...
Went back in the house and said our goodbyes to those that needed to head out...then as the crowd thinned...nap attack!
Luckily I kept loosing my mimosa...I couldve woke up with a hang over...but nope...felt great and rested....yay for Moms day!
