Looking for a Place to Teach at Burning Man
I am looking for a Camp to teach at Burning Man for 2010. Last year I taught about 10 classes at the Ascension Tribe Camp - by the third day, the tent was completely full for each class with an overflow of people waiting outside the tent. My Art is Enlightenment. My classes that i teach include; The Secrets of Manifestation, Power & Integrity and my most popular Bringing Your Burning Man Experience Back Home.
Many people have asked me if I will be teaching this year and I would love to but the Ascension Tribe will not be a camp this year so I need a new camp to teach at. If this interests you, please let me know. You can find out more about me at my website at www.NANICE.com

Don't let them scare you. Keep full eye contact with them all the time and they won't bite. Don't run and for pete sake don't turn your back on them and try to escape.
How many people are you trying to educate in each class? This will help in knowing the size of the tent needed.
I remember a few years back, there was some sort of class on sexual self gratification. There where hundreds of people coming from all directions to attend. They were like fucking zombies heading to a graveyard at midnight during a full moon.

a tent that fits 50 or 100 would be good. Thank you for your encouragement. I'm not easily scared off. One of the things that I teach is about how we each create a ripple out into the world with each word we speak and each thought we think. If people really knew the impact of their words and thoughts, they would become very responsible and we would see instant world transformation. My personal intention is to always and all ways transmit love and kindness.

@Shambala, what you said is possibly alarming
An my camp I'll be delivering sexually-oriented courses. In fact, one woman who's volunteered to teach a few courses plans to teach a couple of topics that are extremely sexually explicit (one being on self-gratification, interestingly enough).
When I planned my camp I didn't expect that huge of a following, inasmuch as sex is not on the mainstream of the art river that flows through Burning Man and is not the main reason why people come to the playa. So I designed the camp spaces with that in mind. A veteran Burner who's been supporting and helping me has repeatedly warned me that my camp will likely draw more visitors than I expect, but I wasn't thinking "hundreds".
Were you speaking literally when you talked about the "hundreds" of attendees at that particular class? There's no way that even the largest of the imagined manifestations of my camp could accomodate that many in one sitting.
Thanks for any feedback.

The class filled completely and there were crowds of people waiting to see if there was going to be another one afterwards. If I remember correctly, it was a "hands on" workshop and that may have been the key to drawing such a big crowd. Give the people what they want, and they will come!MaitreMaximillian wrote:Were you speaking literally when you talked about the "hundreds" of attendees at that particular class? ygmir, this is along the lines of what you're talking about!
***************************
A palindrome reads the same backwards as forward.
This video reads the exact opposite backwards as forward.
Not only does it read the opposite, the meaning is the exact opposite..
This is only a 1 minute, 44 second video and it is brilliant.
Make sure you read as well as listen... as it first goes forward, and then backward.
This is a video that was submitted in a contest by a 20-year old.
The contest was titled "u @ 50" by AARP. This video won second place.
When they showed it, everyone in the room was awe-struck and broke
into spontaneous applause. So simple and yet so brilliant.
Take a minute and watch it.
