Help! I need a ticket in exchange for volunteer work....

Hey guys!!

Your advice is greatly appreciated....

Does anyone have any recommendations on volunteering for BMan in exchange for entry? A few years back several friends of mine volunteered at the cafe... I tried emailing them but got no response (I've made more espresso in my life than I care to admit).

This will be my sixth year at Burning Man... I've paid every single year with pleasure. Unfortunately, I've been living off of financial aid for the past year, and will be volunteering in South America for the summer instead of working. My financial situation is pretty dire...

I'm hoping that some inner BMorgs will read this and have some advice.

I can't (and don't) speak for any of the other volunteer groups on the playa but unless something's changed very recently the 'volunteering' angle in exchange for a ticket doesn't happen.

Seems what you're suggesting here is less about volunteerism and more about bartering a ticket in exchange for your work. Nothing wrong with trying for it but I'm seriously doubting that you'll get even a nibble.
