The Lost Penguin Brings MORE

Post by Stephen Lynn » Wed Jun 16, 2004 2:21 am

Forgive our faulty math from earlier today.
We neglected a decimal, okay?
Can we be forgiven?

The Lost Penguin Theme Camp bring 3 BIG GENERATORS.
2 are 5000 watts.
1 is 3500 watts.
WE BRING 13,500 WATTS OF GENERATOR POWER.
We lack for nothing regarding generated power.
We don't need anyone else's power.
We just need your involvement and contributions and helping hands.

We have a huge refrigerator, a stove, tons of lighting, several fans, a performance stage, karaoke machine, a lovely 'neon' sign to help
you find your way home...everything.
We GOT power. you DIG!!!?

We bring FAR MORE POWER THAN WE'LL EVER NEED.
Come be a part of the Lost Penguin and
GET ON BOARD THIS SURPLUS OF POWER!!!

God Bless, and we're really sorry for our bad math.
sleep tight.....zzzzzzzzzzzzz....

Is that you, Paul? Wow.

I almost never post on E-playa, and the one you're replying to is a million years old, comparatively.

First, Lost Penguin is at Esplanade(of course) and 8:30.
We have several scheduled nighttime events on our stage and otherwise, but please stop in and we'll get you on that keyboard!
(I'm assuming we'll have Nudeyman's keyboard set up again!)

Our tribe numbers, thru my efforts, have increased about 3-fold. Our "recruiting" is over. We got an enthusiastic bunch; many of them "virgins" to BMan.
Our events include Wednesday's "Latin Night", w/ approp. music & dancing.
This may interest you; we intend to have a Bellydancing Interlude Wed. night as well, at like 9 or 10pm, including some from Burning Bellies.

Also our "Like A Virgin" night, w/ newbies from around the playa, forced to dress in drag and get their just desserts!
3 different stage acts that night, too.
Friday night we have at least 2 stage acts as well, including the Serotonins.

The Erotic Ice Bar shall be in our "backyard", w/ booze and naughtiness.
You are cordially invite, Paul; as are all else reading this missive.
Promises to be a great Burn for The Lost Penguin.
Great hearing from you.
Write me directly if you wish at: [email protected].

 hey we would love to play at your camp! we are part of a group called BURN! that plays all original dance music with percussion jams, dancehall, brazilian beats, funk and house. we will be a scaled down version on the playa. let us know when would be good times to play. Wed nite sounds cool for what we do but we're playin on the SFMuni bus that nite but maybe we could do both. do you have a PA and/or amps and drums? we will be at sunset samba circus camp at 3:30 and mercury with nightly (sunset-pay attention) jams and a special fire and samba circus on thur. come by! i'm pescadorr or kevin and my sister is Tica. everburning, pescadorr [email protected] :P

A karaoke machine, eh? I will most certainly partake! I guess I will come visit you and find out karaoke will be. Maybe I can synch it up with "zombie day" and bring my undead posse to croon some tunes!!

"Esplanade(of course) and 8:30"

I thought the sound camps were supposed to be at 2:00 and 10:00 facing the open playa? Maybe you don't plan on playing loud music but with three generators pumping out 13,000 watts and a stage it sounds pretty noisy to me.
