Australians in the American Desert
G'day Mates!
Let us introduce ourselves. We are two post Sydney-siders en route to Black Rock Desert during our 12 month journey through the US that exists only because of a photo I saw at an exhibition of Burning Man around 4 years ago.. and voila, here we are!
We are out for the experience of a life time and will be handing out Vegemite Sao's and Anzac Cookies for all to taste. Spoken, sung or screamed in Crocodile Dundee-esque accents, we look forward to getting covered in dirt with you.
Peace,
funkjunkie

Good luck, let me know if you need any other help with the lingo.
There are definitely some language differences you should be aware of. For instance, we use the word 'Wank" to mean 'Beer'. So feel free to ask people you meet to give you a wank, or offer them a wank if you have some to share. Also, 'prick' is a term we use in America for 'tent'. So when you're setting up, you may need to ask your neighbors for help with your prick, or help getting your prick up.Make sure you bone up on our language before you get here so we can understand each other
Good luck, let me know if you need any other help with the lingo.
