Don't get me wrong..
I've just browsed through some of the posts here and what I read are people complaining about who's camping too close to 'my' theme camp, who's using my shadow, who is doing this and that. I just don't understand, it seems to me all this them camps are more and more privatized, are there any camps where non members can just hang out for a bit and meet new people and enjoy some group activity? What are this theme camps all about, where is the BM vibe in them? It feels in the theme camps the same thing starts to happen that happened throughout the US in the last fifty years "Get the fuck off my loan!!!" I mean wasn't this an original reason why people went out into the dessert? And what is left? People recreating the world outside and doing exactly the same? Do people just come out there to build there own small space where they can do what they want. Why not go somewhere else? Why do have to people go to BM and build there sealed little community. What about all the people, the individual who just come there to have fun, not everyone might be able to join a camp before it. But where is the so praised sharing? I mean I don't agree with people walking in somewhere and taking advantage of the others. But I think you should be able to go anywhere without border and if you know people put a lot of work and sweat into something, man bring something that they might enjoy, bring a gift, receive a gift. My dream, vision of burning man was this huge big village where them camps just merge and you start walking like under one big tent from camp to camp not even noticing you're just entered a new camp, it just looks different, but there were no fances or anything. And everywhere you can sit down and meet new cool people, you pull out a bottle of wine or whatever of you backpack and drink with someone, you go somewhere else and take your gold glitter pen and make fun with people there, you have somewhere you tent and maybe your own theme camp but why not just walking around like this all day, and everyone has the same idea. I don't know. I would love BM to be like this, but what I read is the complete opposite. Tell me the truth man, what is BM???? What is left?

I sounds like you're confusing the playa with e-playa. This is the place where people can vent and bitch about all different things. Once on the playa, the combination of dust, alcohol, lack of sleep and "other" outside factors, things are very different.
Attend for the first time and you will see what I mean.

yeah, what they said..........it's totally open and sharing. There are very few "restricted" spaces...........
unless, of course, you're a "dirty hippie or sparkle pony".......then,
GOMFL!!!!!
I been thinking, it'd be fun to make "Hotel California/Soylent Green/Chili" camp.......

Generally snark is reserved for page 2 but in this case an obvious exception was made.
Ever been there?
Theme camp turn you down to join?
Try Stag Camp, there an all inclusive camp based on Mayan principles transmorgrified into Hedonistic ramblings, with a dash of Basil thrown in.
Or just stay home and play World of Warcraft. I hear it does wonders for your waist line and skin color.

That's why I was asking, I like to hear people opinions, and I like to hear form different experiences, and since I've just red all the bad stuff I thought I voice my concern and ask for a different opinion. How would you get started? C'mon let me be the first timer I am of course I can't play so super experienced here... And of course I check out the internet first, where else can I get an fist expression? And some of the stuff I read was just bullshit. I guess internet just doesn't really do it. It's the place where the weak call themselves 'superman125' and play God, and that after 16 hours of World of Warcraft, what a waste.. lol.. ; ) Thanks for any honest meant advice to just find out for myself, I will for sure, haven't done anything else for years.

First you should go to your profile and enable BBC and other things so when you try to quote it works.
Next you are taking us a lot more seriously, then we take ourselves.

Aha aha, I see. I understand, it must be hard with all this experience to imagine how it was the first time. But I really honestly do understand actually. I'm traveling so long, and sometimes, going to a hostel, and meeting all this 'backpackers' who left their own country for the first time a week before, and then all their questions you have heard so many times before.. "Where are you from?" "What are you doing?" "How do you like it here?" "How is your country like?" "How long are you staying?" "What's your favorite place?"
Yes, it can be annoying when you're at a different level and just want to talk about something else, move on in life and not repeat the same again and again. Well, but then recently I discovered, I remembered, it was one of the best times of my travels! The world was still big and a secret to discover, it still is now but different. Now I like to listen to them and smile at their early excitement and sometimes I tell a story on my own, but not often, mostly I remain quiet and listen.. Life and experience changes people I guess, and you're always sitting at one side or another, today you're veteran here, tomorrow freshman there.

That's funny, the older gentleman in my imagination is saying: "You kids get off my mortgage, I'm going to get ladyfingers!"Remark wrote:(Picturing an older gentleman with his pants pulled up to his man boobs.)"Get the fuck off my loan!!!" I mean wasn't this an original reason why people went out into the dessert?
"You kids get off my loan, ....I'm gonna go get a banana split."
And curse you, Remark, for beating me to it.

Thanks for your words. I would consider camping next to your place. Let's see how things will work out. I decided not to make me big thoughts before I get there. BM was always a dream for me, and well, here is not really the place to share such dreams. I don't want to end up reacting to posts from all this kids living in their mothers basement, don't have a life, and keep wasting their time making useless comments so they don't feel as little, or just ugly people who would like to touch my legs and dream me to be gay, hey but I'm not into ugliness at all. Thanks anyways. Maybe see you around!
