skateboarding on the playa

if you're talking about the Razor scooter, with 1.5" wide wheels....they work great, as long as you don't stand on them......I think the wheels are to narrow for the soft conditions......that said, I've not tried it.....just noting surface vs flotation......

I'm with you Dragonpilot... They are obnoxiously loud and why they are permitted is beyond me. Please do your Playa neighbors a favor and leave the scooter at home...

Hmm..well not standing on them might make them a lot less effective as a means of transportation :(

Yes, indeed it can last. Glad you're middle aged. I was in high school when they were trendy. And actually had a couple of their 45's.

But, of course, the Beach Boys were the masters that still hold up (Holland, Pet Sounds).

Can he do the Beach Boys?
