holy cow. Already? I must REALLY be behind schedule. (hyperventilate)
Last year I munged this into a spreadsheet and as I remember I kept the templates so it was pretty easy. I'll start on it tonite.
ETA: Whew, this isn't the placement list, I'm not THAT far behind. It's the placement list that I put on XLS.

You don't stop going to Burning Man because you get old.

Don't bother printing it up. I've done that, it's total overload. You end up with a lot of pages that really aren't that useful. Before you go, maybe pick half a dozen camps you REALLY want to visit and note them down. Note down what camps your friends are in. If you're lucky, maybe you'll get to one!
There's a what/where/when list you receive when you arrive that is also really hard to work with. Again, pick a few things you really are excited about and feel lucky if you get to any.

2008 I planned to make it to dozens of events in the What-Where-When. I didn't actually attend a single thing.swampdog wrote:Don't bother printing it up. I've done that, it's total overload. 2009 I lowered my plans. I knew I would attend one single event and I did!! It was held at my camp and I forgot all about it until people started flooding in with home brewed beer!! The All Playa Brew Fest!!! WoooHooo! 2010 will be it's second annual!
(PS, Goathead, you have no idea how productive I planned to be just moments before your camp rolled up into mine! We had everyone all set to finish our art car and you had to show up and get us drunk! Damn your delicious brews!)
It was better next year. -Burners
