Fire Performers Needed

Thursday at sundown at the black rock city wedding chappel (website coming soon) to perform as an ailse for me the bride to walk through and to spin when the chapel burns.

Beautiful idea!! an aisle of fire, mmmmmm....
Might I suggest...

You provide/arrange fuel, station and safety for the firefolk, making it much easier for them, and for your peace of mind...
also, it's a little early to 'sign' participants up for playa events - but GREAT to have a 'head's up'...

id suggest finding a team of poi spinners to move down the aisle while spinning excess fuel to create the fiery "sides" of the aisle.

Well, except you're technically not supposed to spin off on the playa.

We do fire safety, but our conclave usually has practice that night. Or sometimes Wednesday. Or sometimes it gets canceled.... but MyLarry and I do the fuel station on wheels for the Utah conclave. I wouldn't know if we'd be availalbeuntil shortly before the event.

ok check this out....

Your get 10 staff spinners and make 2 rows of 5 for you aisle.

have them grouped in pairs and each pair uses a different fuel.

so like the first 2 will be dipped in white gas, the second 2 in kerosene, the third 2 in denatured alc, and the fourth and fifth using the colored flames.

as you guys are walking back down the aisle, after the wedding. each of the spinners does a burn off as you pass (or all at the same time, depending on what yer looking for).

Oh, probably not, but several of our performers do have spin buckets to catch the excess fuel. Not that these get used during the heat of the performance in the Great Circle!

I honestly don't know if it is a real issue or not.

Count me in, especially as I'm an Anti M fan, and didn't even know she is a fire creature!

Circus performance and fire is one of my jobs, when I'm not making sculpture. I'd be quite happy to juggle, eat, or spin for your wedding.

I might be able to. I have to see if I can get a new set of poi in for BM then though as I wasn't planning on setting anything a fire (though isn't fire sexy!). At the very least I'd be willing to help with the planning or what have yous. Please let me know as it gets closer.
