"pics, or, it didn't happen"............

I'll check the small oven, I measured it and sent dimensions to LF to see if it'll work.

do you have propane bottles, or, shall I bring one for it? 5 gal. type.

Would be great if you had a propane bottle for it as well as I do not have one and I want to be sure of the fit. You get first dibs on the goodies. I am sure that LF & Misa will agree.

Itn't it great to see Deb in here again! I've missed her thoughtful comments. Yeah, a pic would have been great! Smile, shy Deb!

Sorry I missed you Deb. I was getting a little worried by all that silence, but since it was self-care, good for you.

howdy ....

good to see you back, deb!

faetora, i looked into gluten free pie crust, and found that whole foods has a mix that you can make and roll out and freeze, so i will plan on making some pies with it.

but i have no idea how much propane will be needed ... ! probably not as much as one eye uses for his MV :D i guess we bake until we run out ...

Hiya Deb!

Marty, we'll have a propane oven this year in Hushville. For the glutenoids, sad to say. Mostly biscuits!

Hey Anti M, that sounds good to me. I'll confer with LF on this, since she and Misa and maybe FaeTora will be doing the baking. No matter what, we should really have some delectable treats in Hushville this year! Perhaps, "two ovens are better than one" (sort of like heads??)

I can help with baking but I don't bake well alone. I can cook a mean meal but baking is a different skill I haven't mastered. But I am willing to try almost anything twice.

I am sitting in my favorite bar, drink in hand...

FT :), what is fire poi?

Marty, I dont know why, but your "two ovens are better than one" just made me think of "four legs are better than two"

I want to be today 55 days from now :D

Poi is a ball on the end of nylon or chain cord. I perfer chains. There are some that you can also light on fire. Of course when your learning you don't start with them on fire.

Here's an example. They were taken last week which was the second time ever I spun poi and the first time I ever spun fire.

Nice fire pics, FaeTora. I'm practising but only using tennis balls til I get the hang of it!

No pics of my adventure in TickTown, it wasn't an award winning presentation! You'll have to check with Sputnik.

Nice to hear all your voices again. I'm still emotionally tender due to the divorce proceedings dragging out forever so will pop in when I can. I find it difficult to be cheerful sometimes so will just lurk then. I'd rather hide that mean-spirited downer that this trial is creating in me.

I know how that is. Whenever someone leaves, divorce or death, it is hard, and when it drags on its even worse.

Try LED Poi on a chain cord. They are closer to the weight of fire poi and with poi , the lighter you go the harder it is to work with. The extra weight of LEDor fire poi helps to make the movement for you so you can focus on your actions and not the end of the poi.

just received notice of another burner suicide - one of the people from the Lakes of Fire event. I met him and he seemed to be having the time of his life. Anyway, Sail Man and Silver Orange were his friends too so I'm off to send condolences.

Thanks for the idea of the LED poi. I've heard about those and as soon as I can manage a new purchase I'll get some.

I am a spinner I guess. I'm just learning. I have now spun Poi three times ever. I can do the three point weave and the butterfly and I am workign on thread the needle and the 5 point weave at the moment as well as being able to turn so I can dance more with it.

I know I can't wait for august! People at work, who think I am camping in the desert (which I am technology), know my count down. "How much longer?", "8 weeks, 3 days!"
