I have not heard either and starting to get nervous as well. Scar has been our contact thru all of this, I'm not sure at all what area(s) he's in charge of. Still keeping my fingers crossed for our Mountain Mayhem Camp. Anyone else NOT heard yet?

We're a bit disappointed we weren't placed on the Esplanade this year but we're placed right next to Center Camp and we're going to totally rock it out.

Champagne Lounge, previously Camp Welcome will see you near the same spot as the last two years, 3:30 on the Ring Road. By the By, our camp placement team was Sweetthang and Trigger. Time to start poppin bottles.

I expect each placer is sending out emails independent of the other placers. I "know of" (second hand) one placer who sent a "group" email to everyone in their area, stating "placement info on the way"; but that was only one placer.

The placer sections are not obvious. I believe the placer who would handle the 9:00 Portal is different from the one who handles the 9:00 Plaza, etc. And different from the 9:00 farther back area.

Relax folks,

Sending thousand or so emails takes time.

ISPs have all kinds of sensors to detect bulk email and automatically cut off the suspected email servers as spammers.

This happened last year and caused a huge clusterfuck. The BORG Internet hamsters had to be retrained to send out emails at a controlled rate, one every minute or few.

It will take a bit of time for all to go out.

9:00 Plaza on the corner of Baghdad on 3:00 side of the plaza.

Camp Warp Zone got our email around 11:30 -- we're going to be at 4:30 and E. Given that most of the camps chiming in on this thread are placed around 4:30, I'm guessing that the placers for our neighborhood just have it really together. Thanks, Baulknaub!

The Plaza is the round part. i.e. the 3:00 Plaza is the round circle with an art piece in the center, and Ice is located there.

The Portal (sometimes called a keyhole) is the portion of 3:00 Street between the Esplanade and "A". The ends (next to Esplanade or "A") can have inconsistent naming. i.e. the corner of the Esplanade might be called "Esplanade and 3:00" or 3:00 Portal.

This is also true of 4:30 (and the other side). The round part is the Plaza.

With 600 camps they don't always get the address exactly correct.

Hi Chris!

Yup 12:00 is towards the man, so you'll be on the circle close to the 9:00 blvd heading towards the keyhole.

We'll be almost directly across from you, on the corner of the Plaza and Baghdad, can't miss us as we have a huge 32 ft wall that says "PLANET EARTH"

Oh, and all of the above, especially absinthe!

Fandango got Esplanade! I didn't get our cross street as my contact sent the message right before heading into Juplaya, but I'm stoked! I haven't been on Esplanade since 2003.

edit: Cross street is 3- we're close to all the 4:30 eplaya camps!
