The legal Utah fireworks are wimpy things, but Wyoming is just an hour away, I swear you can buy nuclear warheads there. Just don't get stopped on the way back down the canyon, the fines are huge.

I was in Washington State last year at the end of June for the Buckley Log Days... great small town parade. Anyway, on the Indian reservation, there are tons of fireworks stands. I drove along, sort of reading the signs, and I swear I saw "Artillery Shells"

Are those legal in Texas. They probably are. "tailgaters will be shot" bumperstickers are a warning here.

My favortite !. Not real artillery shells but a fair comparison to commercial fireworks. they are about the size of a baseball and pack quite a wallop. We BUy ours in New Mexico whenever we go through to vistim family in Texas :)

Do you know how to make a 4th of July Fireworks drink?

Neither do I!

But I'll take a double of any 4 shots!

HI FT..........yeah, thanks for coffee. that'd be great!

Big day ahead?

I'll be cutting granite today.

I have to get my "default" work out of the way, so I can get back to BM preparations..........(why does that statement sound "off"?) hahaha

big day? no but monday is my friday. So after this I have two days off and I will probably head out to Austin or San Antonio to look for a job. I am sick of Houston and my job and I realy just need to get out of here.

Its not off. I'd much rather be planning for BM than going to work this morning.

No i work for a large corporation. If I leave it, I will be finding a completely new job. I am just physically, emotionally, and mentally tired of Houston. Two years ago when I moved back to take care of a few things I didn't think that I would still be here two years. Honestly, If I got a job offer almost anywhere in or outside the U.S. I'd take it and move.

dang, having a job you hate is tough........I've been there, in my life.
I've now been self employed for the last 25 years or so.
But, that has it's challenges, too.........

Good luck with that.

Its just not me. Everyone when they hear what I do is shocked. Personally, I just feel like I am being strung down this line of life because I haven't been daring enough to risk anything to make something else happen. After this year, I don't have anything to loose. At worst I will have missed a slightly better oppurtunity to make money and at best I find something less tiring that maybe has something to do with my degree that will help me go off to graduate school.
