on here? you hit the qoute button and if you want to shorten it you delete all except what you are commenting on.

If not, is it for a paper? What format are you using?

Pin Curls and Spiker Glue

Post by pandora422 » Tue Jul 13, 2010 8:12 pm

"Beauty knows no pain!" At least untill you've spent a week on the playa with long hair.

My solution for the past two years is to twist little pieces of my hair into pin culs saturated with spiker glue (Sally Beauty Supply Beyond The Zone Spike-It), bobby pin it to your head and let it dry. Takes a good 2-3 hours the night before you leave for Burning Man. When you take you hair down it stays twisted into little, semi permanent "dread locks" that wash out with a hot shower when you get home. No tangles and you dont need to worry about brushing/washing your hair all week long. Looks good in a pony tail or down for five-seven days - don't be skimpy on the spiker glue (one bottle per head). Wrap you head with a clean scarf when you sleep to keep dust out of your sleeping area.

Here is a better pic.
