Good morning peeps!
Ahhhh~ Just back from the playa...she is very well and sends her love and kisses!
Will be a fabulous year out there...albeit probably alot of Dust storms though.
A couple of berms here and there, but over all pretty hard pack. The only reason I say dust storms is because on Sunday everyone was driving around 40-80 mph...and it left a pretty good hanging dust over the playa that made it very difficult to find your way home.
and that was only 50-100 vehicles....imagine 20,000 vehicles.....
It was hot...ok on Saturday it was FUCKING hot again. But I tell ya, having now 2 trips playa side in the last month...Im getting pretty acclimated!
The Ein hammer testing was a success, although so many of us wanted to see it again on Sunday night...darn it...so guess we will just have to set off Dave Kinds liquid shooter instead!!! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE~!
Aint nothing like being 10 feet from 100 feet tall crazy liquid flames, over and over again...one of those wonderous things you never get bored of!!!
Everyone had fire works so a show in any direction you looked in!
Oh...and camps are not close to one another..(yes my first juplaya experience) more like most camps are in the 2-15 miles away from each other!
Definitely not walking distance.
But GREAT time was had by all!
We had enough food and water to even stay another week......but thats in 48 days anyway....RIGHT?

Hey, I want in on that snugglefest! That's the whole point of going to Burning Man, isn't it?FaeTora wrote:you better be coming to BRC yg. Misa, LF, GH, marty, and I all need snuggles.
Don't make me send in the clowns.
My ticket arrived yesterday so today I took my truck to the mechanic to see if he can fix the clutch. Started sorting through playa gear already. Between the clutch repair and paying back debts from over the last year, I'll just be able to make it.
Pray for low fuel costs, please. That's the next hitch.
