Pffft! Nevada...conservative?? Our drug/DUI laws are about the only thing that's super conservative. You learn to adapt...and blame Las Vegas ....

I was on the strip in front of the Bellagio last night at 10 pm and while I saw the old and unattractive, I saw a full cross section of humanity including some very beautiful people. It's easy to paint Vegas with a big stereotype brush. But...until you're here and you walk the strip and experience it...it's kinda like Burning Man you gotta participate to understand. Otherwise you just won't get it.

As for their drug laws, they are a little...shall we say behind the curve? But considering all that they do allow it's not that bad of a place to be.

Never confuse The Playa with eplaya. Totally different places. This is the internet, even a Burning Man site will get internet behavior. Half of it is performance art anyway. The playa is the real deal, and even there, you will get all types.

No expectations is a good way to approach people here and there.

Whether or not the originator is real, the first post in this discussion claimed that "when I think of everyone only 10% (if that) of people are attractive..."

That's pretty rude, in my opinion, although it may represent a heartfelt opinion (or fear, or clumsy attempt at humor) by the originator. In any case, very few people on the playa will care at all about what is posted on ePlaya, where snark is not just an art form, it's a whole reason to live.

The playa is something else.
