One Item for BM a Day (2010-2012)

About how many ounces of suncreen do I need? The spf 85 I have in a 7 oz. tube and the spf 100 is 4 oz. I want to use the 85 first and if I start to get red, go to the 100, but I still don't know how much I will use each day. A 7oz tube a day? Any help would be appreciated.

Well, how much will you use?

A shotglass = one application/4 oz (loosely)

If you apply every hour or so....you do the math.

Statistics homework is already making my head hurt.

Better too much, than not enough.

I am big on staying in the shade - much easier at my burns - and using a parasol. Also easier around here...but I'm going to try in BRC this year.

I am a CRACKER, and although everything tastes better on a cracker, sunscreen is just greasy and icky and I don't like using it if I don't have to.

I know aerosol is bad, but I really dig the spray kind, so easy and quick to slather on everywhere.

I finished putting the curtain grommets on my tie kilt! And today we ordered vegan jerky for the veggie daughter (cheaper on Amazon than at Whole Foods) and nabbed some more LED spiral 7-color light sticks from eBay. (BTW if you get these, eBay also has extra batteries for them CHEAP).

A little tip from my playa experiance last year. I put a bottle of spray on sunscreen in my cooler. NICE !! its nice & cold and you don't have to rub it in.. I hate rubbing sunscreen onto sweaty, grubby, playa skin. ew !!

i wrap mine in HF moving blankets. then a silver tarp. use it for my water. just bough a hand pump today. done messing with a hose

I feel like I accomplished alot over the weekend.

Everything I have been stashing away for the playa has been inventoried, sorted into bins/containers and written down in my excel spreadsheet. Now I know exactly what to focus on in the remaining 45 days until I leave.

My first top. But I haven't had the gumption to figure out the sewing machine, so it was: stitch by hand, rip out, then stitch again. I think I may be learning though!
