Well, I'm not the only mod, just the most vocal and hands on. The others do their share too. I just don't have a day job.

I know that when I'm doing really interactive moderating, there will be critics and detractors as well as the fan club. Always hear how mods should not be part of the community, while the other hand is how can one moderate without knowing the players? I start second-guessing myself, and my tolerance for stupidity drops sharply some days when we're all busy getting ready for the burn and the assclowns come out to play. I could be painting, but here I am, hanging out.

Couldn't ask for better company. LOL, mostly.

another thank you from the peanut gallery!

Ya, I would wonder how a moderator that doesnt play with the crowd would notice socks or spammers?

You rock it babe!

got to visit with my Dad last night for the first time since his surgery.

He has good color to him, just looking really tough.

But he is back on his feet, and should be home this week we hope.

If you try, you could stretch that into a novel, I think.
The letter or the story? cuz I could add the part about how I applied for a student loan, and drove all over the city, and got some free fur, and gave back the extra bunny ears, and how the monsoon in my city terrified me so I went home and cuddled the cat, but then I would sound like a crazy person.

Which I'm not.

And the whole reason I was out to write the letter in the first place (instead of mailing it) was so I could drop it off in person in hopes of seeing my really cute EMT instructor but the building moved.

Still not crazy.
The story. And adding in cute EMT action is always a way to get a little "hubba hubba" appeal in the marketing department.
