Does anyone know if this possibly Burner related?

It is located on the NW corner of the intersection of Ave C and 110th st west in Lancaster, Ca

It is visible on Google Earth.

The structure has been reported to be made of plywood and approx 10 feet high.

AN online friend of mine drives by this a few times a month due to work and its been driving him crazy trying to figure it out. I told him it was probably some random art piece or something that someone put out there to drive people crazy. He was not amused.

I've heard of things like that, placed, to calibrate satellites and ranging/surveying equipment...........

Well, that was an initial thought. We have discarded that notion since the structure is made of plywood and does not have any visible power drops, fencing or signage around it. You would think some combination of those elements would be present if it was there for an "official" purpose.

There's all sorts of random stuff by all sorts of random roads all over the country.

And, I'm just as glad that Cadillac Ranch, and even the Snoopy Rock exist as their own little pockets of weirdness rather than being instigated by burners.

It makes me happy to know that excentricity is way bigger than the mere 50,000+ we account for.

If I were to venture a guess I'd say that it is probably related to the Lockheed skunkworks plant in Lancaster which is just down the road from Palmdale, CA.

Flat surfaces and angular edges are are on of the design hallmarks of the newest series of fighters and bombers that are being thought up over in that area.

But then, I'm just guessing.

Radio will pass through plywood without any problem or it could be fiberglass panels that "feel" like plywood. Looks like possibly a passive target (reflector) for doing ranging (either RF or even optical). I agree with ygmir.
