Bar Hooping at Burning Man

I would like to see a bunch of naked hoopers on the bars at Burning Man this year.

It's way better to hoop naked then clothed.

Bikinis work too....or speedos i s'pose

I have only hooped a few times. Both clothed. So I don't have a reference point. But it is fun to watch. SOme are very talented.

I hoop.. I've only been doing it for about a year. I'd consider myself an advanced beginner. Anyway, one of the best advice I got when I started was to hoop naked. The hoop "sticks" better to bare skin, plus it really helps you learn how to feel the hoop and understand how to keep it up and move it around and stuff. And maybe the best advice is to do anything you love naked. Except cooking bacon... that can be dangerous.

Ok i just watched that video... wow!

My son is 10 and has been hooping longer than me. We were at a local burner show thing 2 years ago and he was getting lessons from all these gorgeous hooping women that thought he was such a cute little 8 year old boy. He's now surpassed me in leaps and bounds and I can only hope that he will be as good as that man in the video by the time he's 18 if he keeps it up :)

I can't do hooping clothed or naked.

Believe me, I've tried. But willing to learn.

My take is it's easier for woman to hoop since
they have bigger hips.

If you look up Karis on youtube you'll see that his outfits tend to be pretty skimpy: more bare skin. I think the naked thing applies.

Best thing I heard around him was when he performed with (El Circo?) a couple of years ago. He cam out wearing a long wig, a halter top & skimpy bottoms, looking very female/ androgynous. He pulled of the halter top part way through and the two straight boys in front of me, who had been very interested got confused.

We saw him on stage at the Masque Ball last Valentine's day at El Cid in LA. Blew me away! He was the most entertaining act we saw that night.
