Just a friendly reminder that sending yourself "something" that is illegal is an automatic Felony through the USPS, whereas if your stupid ass just gets caught with it it will prolly just be a misdemeanor.
We have an obligation to make space for everyone, we have no obligation to make that space pleasant.

Hell yeah that's awesome!
So they just drop it in the mail box, and some one in the village just drops it by town?
Why don't ya stick your head in that hole and find out? ~piehole

With as large as the BMorg keeps making BDV it could take a little while just to deliver mail with in town.

Deliver mail.
You'll meet a lot of people trying to figure out where the hell you're going.
I know this is an older thread, but I'm wondering this myself. The PO doesn't have a link to signup for volunteering on the site like other places. Is it possible to just show up and help deliver? I would loovvvvvvvve to do this..

A quick search of the 2010 Theme Camps:
Black Rock City Post Office
BRCPO providing service and delivery of your U.S. and playa mail on and off the playa. Here's where you can gift postcards, stamps, performance art, socialization and integration to receive your certified citizenship and participate in the act of creating and delivering mail art and real U.S mail.

Doh, It looks like there are two Post Office Theme Camps:

Have you ever been to a post office before? It's kind of like that, only not at all. Stop by to volunteer to deliver mail, telegrams & e-mails or just come to us to send mail on & off playa. You may not always need a stamp but you definitely need patience for bureaucracy- like a post office!

This is old but thought it could use a bump since I saw some recent questions about the Black Rock Post Office

Last year I was trying to post a letter late, like Fri or Sat, and the PO, the one by the 9 o'clock plaza, turned me into a intra-playa delivery. There was some playa to playa correspondence, and I agreed. It took a bit to find the camp and the young woman. She took the message and walked away, without a word. Like it was my no thanks needed job or I was her servant. Woulda' pissed me off, but hey, not on the playa. But just a tip, as if she is reading ePlaya, those are actually volunteers who do that. Not servants. It was actually funny to see a sparkle pony in action.

So what zip code would you use?
I thought that Zip Codes were assigned officially by the USPS, but when trying to search for Black Rock City, NV or Burning Man, NV, the search comes up

HOW TO SEND MAIL TO BRC:
Address as follows:
Recipients Name(s) (Real and Playa)
c/o BRCPO 2.0 in the 9:00 Plaza
Recipients Playa Address (the more accurate the better; 420 Birthday is easier to find than 4 or 5 and B. A one or two word description like "dome" or "pink flamingoes" can help too.)
Black Rock City, NV 89412

Ok, here's the scoop. My fiance want to send our wedding invites from BRC. Good idea? Bad idea? Will they really make it to the real world on time? We are both happy to volunteer as postal workers and happy to donate funds to the cause. Does anyone have experience with this? ChiChiBurn
