The Bar... Volume#2
Some categories I have no idea what they're talking about, especially for radio these days.
We actually have a station here that isn't programmed in LA or new york.
Tremendous breath of fresh air.
So much variety, impossible to define.
I'd love to see how they're listed.
I've heard them go from Science Fiction Double Feature to bluegrass gospel to old blues in ten minutes.
How's texas radio these days?

some of the old cemeteries......have beautiful art........and architecture.
I think I saw pics of your Zombie antics somewhere........hahaha
I wish, it was still popular, to do ornate stuff like that........it used to be a matter of family pride, to have a really nice monument, and, plot, for the ancestors........people would go there to picnic and stuff.
I went to a couple of uber cool cemeteries in Prague and one in Tallinn, Estonia......stones there from 1200's.....probably some older, I just didn't find them.

The zombie fun almost got us kicked out. A funeral procession went by just before the shoot and apparently they stopped at the gate and told them that we were taking risque photos. The guy came by and told us that we couldn't photograph the names on the monuments. Thought that was kinda weird. BBQ sauce makes good looking blood, but it kinda burns after it dries.
I think the oldest stone we saw was about 1845 or so.

It's going to be alright.

We break to remind us how to mend.
In Houston, we have this small cemetery in the upper montrose area It is all very old stones and monuments and trees. It is gorgeous. During open hour you can take pictures, walk around, picnic. I love picnics in cemeteries. Its so peaceful. No one bothers you. its so serene.ygmir wrote:some of the old cemeteries......have beautiful art........and architecture.

COFFEE??!! Did someone mention coffee??
Dobvre Utro... er... Good Morning!!! (Sorry, been doing Rosetta Russki...) Been catching up (slowly), getting the barback painted out between work... New job is way much better than the old one, but damn, I keep busy!
Hey Y, have fun at work, be careful - that's one huge rock, sounds like!!! I agree with your sentiments - the new monuments are really, um... yeah. Not splashy. PC. It's as if someone might be offended. I remember years ago when they did my mom's, it was bronze, and they raised a tizzy because it wasn't a carved flat granite plate like everyone elses...
Anyway... Here's a bit of corretto for the cafe... enjoy!

Quelque chose a boire?

ok. still sick but ok. I am still trying to get used to my tattoo. As odd as it is, I am still waiting for it disappear. Its my first tat and I love it! Its just odd getting used to it.
Other than that, though I am off I have to drop by my job for a bit BUT I have a burner meetup tonight! Very kind people and a good place to go to get away from all the... stuff that life is handing me.
Plus, its where I get to spin. Still waiting on my poi.
