You know, you don't have to be with a theme camp. You can just go. You should have everything you need to take care of yourself anyway.

He's right.

But I notice a few camps under "2010 Theme Camps" (right out in the open, there) that are still accepting people. There's even one called Camp Don't Panic:

Be ready to contribute towards your camp with work and/or dues depending on what they need.

Just go and camp! It's my first year and I'm just camping with a friend. I don't want to jump into a theme camp before I experience it solo.

You're doomed. If you don't have a printed out copy of an email, with a verification stamp they will not let you in the gate. Start trying to find a camp for 2011 now. They fill quickly.
