It's also possible that Elliot would allow you the use of one of his pianos, Doc.

:D
Just got home from a Kinetic Sculpture Race in Oregon -- and read the last few days worth of this thread.

Piano at the E-Playa Meet-N-Greet -- coming right up! Very high priority!

It is true that Kinetic camp has a Treasure Hunt at the same time, but I can start on the treasure hunt at 4:20PM and then slip out a side door by 6PM.

And I'm putting wheel-barrow wheels on the pianos, so they will be (relatively) easy to move. Nuthin to it.
:D

One of the stops for the Kinetic Cab Company's treasure hunt is Barbie Death Camp, so we'll all be in this together anyway!

Barbie hat is under repair. Would it be appropriate to wear a pink tutu? Oh yes, I think so!

When is it not appropriate to wear a tutu?

I have been to church night and though I haven't seen any tutus yet I am sure they would not be out of place with those kind burners. Though if you showed up in one, you might be asked if it can be borrowed.

I'll try to remember to make it if I don't get distracted by something or forget what day it is. Maybe someone will remind me.

I would imagine. Try sending an email to the Kinetic Cab Co ([email protected]) and see what they say. I'm betting yes.

:D
The treasure hunt mentioned above is an event organized by the Kinetic Cab Company (9 & Esplanade), of which I am a member. We are going to take all our pedal-powered vehicles ("Kinetic Cabs") on a Treasure Hunt tour of Black Rock City, starting at 4:20 PM on Thursday. (I don't know yet if it will start at Center Camp or at our place.)

As I am only a peon in the Kinetic Cab Company, I concur that you might want to e-mail our Leaders about the possibility of participating. To my knowledge, they are not present on E-Playa. Seems to me, the only question is whether there will be any seats available on the vehicles.

I'm guessing/hoping that human powered vehicles from outside our own camp will be welcome to join in (Rhoades Cars and home-built conveyances), but I do not know that.

It will be somewhat tricky to participate in both the Kinetic Treasure Hunt and the E-Playa Meet-n-Greet, as they happen on the same evening. But I am confident it can be done!

EDIT: Add photo:
Image

This is my Kinetic Cab and entry for the treasure hunt -- although I will probably leave the yellow cloth "bodywork" at home.

This is sort of a bump I suppose. For those of you new to this forum, the annual Meet & Greet for all your favorite ePlayans will be Thursday evening at Barbie Death Camp & Wine Bistro, 3:30 and Edinburgh, beginning at 6 p.m. It looks like we will be serving wine, unless the Naked Bike Ride & Pub Crawl drinks it all. Please bring something to share, such as ice, beer, food, liquor, or anything else you think would be appropriate. This is one party I can assure you debauchary, lewdness, and over-the-top flirting are all in fashion. Only this year, I will be kicking one of you out of the bedroom of my RV instead of the other way around.
