Penske truck rentals

I just read on another thread that Penske is very anti BM and will not rent to any burners. I'm flying in to Reno and have one pre-reserved. I plan of course to show up clean cut and with only a minor carry on in tow since I have family in South Lake Tahoe to stage at before leaving town. But, duh, my rental dates are Aug 27 to Sept 7. They have to know what's up.. Of course I'll feed them a story about helping family move to the bay area or something but..?

Is anyone saying that they might not rent to me?

Yes. My rental was just cancelled by them.

Then, to add insult to injury, the person that called said that they were very sorry but would be please to help if I need a truck for moving in the future. LOL

Fact. I just called to reconfirm, too. He laughed when I told him about Penske canceling people and was like "No no no man.. don't worry. We been renting for Burning Man over 10 years now. You're ok with us"
