I'm just a relative purist when it comes to martinis. If you ask me, they should be made with gin and vermouth and maybe some olive juice. Now and then a good vodka is OK as well, but all these other drinks calling themselves martinis is just a bit much.
It's going to be alright.

It's not great wisdom, that's just me.

Anyways...that Becherovka sounds interesting. Maybe I'll find some on the playa.

OK, you and I are going to get along just fine. We need to make real martinis one day for cocktail hour just before dinner.

Of course! I have to admit that I used to shake them, but then I learned otherwise.

Anything good planned for the weekend?

hi everyone :) Hey I just talked to an amazing lady. She is part of my women's vintage trailer group and lives 12 miles outside of the gate of Burning Man. She lives on a 302 acre wildlife conservation ranch. She lets burners stay overnight the night before so they can go in at dawn. Charges $25 which is reasonable. Here is her link:

Her name is Sylvia.

I am going to warn you. Terminal City already has a martini meister, to wit, Martini Steve.

funny thing .... i have one big, wool, winter coat, and i bought it in boise 20 years ago, and it's still in great condition! but it has humongous shoulder pads, a la 80's .... they look so silly now. i'm wearing it anyhow! hee

You guys would love this place.
They have a serious classic drink selection.

Even classes on making drinks.

Littleflower, does the place in idaho have it's own flag?
I envy your chance to have rainbow trout.
