I have never had a cigar. I have smelt them but never had on. I do think i will be a pack of cigarette for the playa just in case I get a craving. I normally just smoke when I get stressed or drink a lot. but who knows. Maybe I'll gift them.

What is that? Is it moldy or is that what it is supposed to look like? Seriously. What is it?

Yes! Drinkies here as well.

So, the chicken races were fun and silly. The first race started off with one of the competitors flying halfway across the track, but then she almost flew right into me. In a few moments they got her back in the race, but really...chickens don't race anywhere. Mostly they look at the ground and think to themselves. "That's a lovely little piece of something....I think I'll peck at it. Oh look, another thing....I think I'll move half a centimeter and peck at that." And so you have it.

It really was a lot of fun despite (or maybe because) the chickens didn't want to race. The really surprising part was how many people showed up on bikes, which means that there is a thriving little community very close to the very close to downtown. Two thumbs up all around!
It's going to be alright.

It's white, it's a fruit, you can pull it apart and each section has a big black seed which you do not eat. I had some in Fiji, but wiki says they grow in brazil too. very sweet and creamy, and citrusy too.

where did you get the chickens? I'm sorry I'm a city gal and I won't have a clue where to get one live. What do you do with them afterwards?

yay for chicken races! sounds like a lot of fun!

i haven't been baking much, ft .... more like trying not to freak out about moving .... eeeek .....

to-day i gave my thriving tomato plant and a few orchids to my sister, then planted a few more of my potted plants in the garden downstairs.... i leave tuesday, and my plants are coming with me. egad .... i will probably have only a few days to prepare the food and everything for burning man! but i have some gluten-free pie crusts already stashed in the freezer ....

as for baking .... we went to a hoity-toity pizza joint for lunch, and i am still marvelling at the pizza .... super thin and crispy, except for the edges, which were big bubbles of dough .... how on earth do you do that?

They're owned by people in the area. They went back home after.

Really? I thought it was illegal to keep farm or exotic animals within city limits though. How do they get away with it? Or is that just Houston?

Every city is different. I also suspect there is a lot less enforcement in Detroit.

I guess. Houston has found some tigers and other exotic and farm animals. The owners were arrested. I remember the tiger because it was so strange to think of a tiger in houston.

Nothing exotic about chickens.

I loved the Polish fighting cock, that was camped next to me at the rainbow thing.

So much nicer to wake up to than some crap sound system on a party barge.

I like the look too.

well depending on the day we go through 2 to 3 pages. So that makes sense. We should recycle.
