On Sunday, when Anti M's Home for Wayward Art shuts down, we flip the sign and indeed, there is a Camp Curmudgeon for one day. We yell at passerby a lot, mostly about pants and our lack of grass because all the damn hippies danced our lawn bare.

I actually found a camp, so feel free to move on to trolling the next response. I hope you get off more on the next one and feel good about telling the "newbies" what they should be doing. Good lord, ePlaya has turned into a den of grouchy know-it-all losers.
Can I be included in this or are my lungs too clear?
ok, snark aside - this is the internet and most here have a great sense of humor and you got honest answers. If you can't laugh at yourself (like everyone here has done at one time or another) , then maybe the ePlaya isn't the place for you. We maybe Snarky but we get the job done. AntiM would put us in our places if we didn't.

We break to remind us how to mend.

Zanek – I could not agree with you more. Look back about 3 pages for a thread entitled 3 New York Ladies Looking etc. for more examples of this same crap from many of the same people. It is clear that these folks have nothing better to do than review every sincere post, looking for a chance to pounce with an insult, couched in the tired old “we’re really trying to help youâ€

Sometimes I play the AntiGreeter as people are leaving. Not at the greeters station, mind you, just flag people down in the street and commiserate about eviction, chat a bit and send them on their way. They are just going to sit in line at gate road anyway. Maybe I should come up with a map, WWW, and window sticker for the default world to give them as they leave.
Pabst Blue Ribbon - The beer that made Gerlach famous.
What else do you want me to say that the picture did not illustrate perfectly?
Yep, you nailed it! I love to poke fun at the clueless.
But when you jump in wearing your superhero cape and panties all bunched up in a wad, well I get an extra special rubbery one.
Just because your Playa is some lovey dovey spiritual utopia, doesn't mean its that kind of cheese for everyone else.
You see, our pathologies are not that dissimilar; I'm compelled to snark on the clueless just as much as you are compelled to be the caped crusader defending the meek.
It all balances out in the end and I get entertained while providing a public education service.

Oooo, so THAT'S what I get to look for at the airport! Sure there's room for me, after you fit all those muscles in the car?
There's no way I could wait until Sunday. I pretty much start once I get there. Well, I pretty much don't ever stop.
GET OFF MAH LAND!

I have a 3 month old baby. I have serious health issues. I get approx 3-4 hours a night. I can deal. What is your issue? Seriously, I would like to know.

I live on the East Coast and am bring a shade structure and lots more. Why can't you? If you are flying in to Nevada, why not buy the materials when you get there? It is real easy to build a simple structure and not very expensive at all. I can give you plans for them if you want.
It's pointless to walk when it's past time to run.

The playa dishes out more than all of us together. If you want to go, go, we've given you enough information for you to start tackling your issues. If you don't want to go, don't. Easy.
