How I love this community!
Gyre- There is a big part of me that would LOVE to sue the school district, but JekJek just wants to move on to the next chapter in her life and it's my job as her mother to support that decision.
I am PROUD to be the mother of such a delightful human being. And am truly tickled at the love and support she has received from all of you. It just reinforces my decision to take her to BRC in the first place.
As far as practicing her culinary skills on the playa... I'm sure there will be lots of oppurtunities for sampling if you happen to be in the Terminal City area....

I am HUGE impressed by Jek Jek, and her decision to say, as it were, "Fuck 'em" to he school board and thier Azi9 attitude, and not let them decide YOUR future. Your decision to move on, and make something out of your life than let those jorkoffs dictate your life for you is commendable. I gotta say... I'm DAMN proud to have you (and your cooking skills - grins - ) as part of TC.
