flying in mon. the 6th to drive my lady home. do i need a tic for the day or will the burn peaple just let me go find her?

Just tell them that Shambala sent you and they will let you right in. Just make sure that you promise to leave right after you find your lady. As UD said, she will be covered in mud and ready to mess your car up good.

I am pretty sure that the gate people are not there on that Monday. People can come and go as they please once the event is ending.

This is certainly an honest question.

You will need to purchase a ticket if you wish to enter the event. There are no day-passes. For more info: http://tickets2.burningman.com/faq.php#day

Your best plan would be to set a time that you will meet at the gate. Then you are not out $$...

But the last Monday is when we are all leaving. There is no Gate at that point,m and he is trying to fly in. Special situation and I haven't a clue.

It is nearly impossible to even get to the gate on Monday.

Call the BM office and ask.

If I were you, I'd have your lady hitch a ride to Gerlach and you meet her there.

Wait! Are you flying in to the Black Rock City International Spaceport in your own airplane? Or are you flying in to Reno and driving to the event to pick her up?

If the former, you can wait for her at the Spaceport entry gate. If the latter, what everyone else said.

But be advised, if you're flying your own aircraft, the Spaceport is going to be VERY busy marshaling departing aircraft...not to mention all the dust kicked up by taxiing and departing aircraft.
