I think after you read the LEAL section of the BRR afterburn report, you might have a greater appreciation for BLM rangers and be a bit shy from the Pershing County cops. It seems that last year they went on some sort of morality crusade in the city. I didn't go last year so I didn't see it and maybe that is a good thing.

Must have been a significant effect if the Afterburn Report was willing to say "okay, it got weird."
I didn't feel particularly oppressed by law enforcement in '09 (wasn't looking--or looking for trouble) but it was the first year my tiny camp got "slow-rolled" by a woman in an unmarked pick-up who stared really hard into my monkey hut. Um, hi. Want some shredded wheat? I know a guy.
I gave her my best, blank WHAT face.
