WARNING!!! About to explode my love for my Maine Coon all over the bar!

That being said. Leonard Bernstein is bigger than a cocker spaniel, just 2.5 years old (I know...he looks like a crotchity old man, plays fetch, and goes for walks in the park!

He's awesome. OBSERVE!

Image

LB sleeping in the kitty condo we found on a walk through the neighborhood and he INSISTED on bringing home. It's his thrown...even if it's so gross looking I had to bleach/vaccuum/clean it 109430987403984 times before I would bring it inside.

Image

LB using his cunning to kill his fo, Wilbur the Fish, through habitat destruction. (this is actually the ONLY place we can get Leonard to drink water...I think he might be special...)

Image

Being a monorail kitty on the back of the couch...please notice HIS lighter. He carries it arround all over the place and gives it to people when they come for a visit...but he takes it back when they leave...

Image

Yes...my pussy is VERY big. This is when we first got him he was abandon by his owners (I have no idea why, he is SO awesome...best Maine Coon, best CAT I have ever owned). For some reason he was SUPER chubby. Not so much anymore. (this is my old roommate Anthony, modeling the lovely Elb)

Image

His favorite sleeping position in his favorite chair. He will come lay in your lap if you sit on it. Then somehow he makes himself EXTRA heavy so you don't want to sit there anymore...VICTORY says the kitty...it's his chair again.

Image

Family photo! Me, my roommate, and the kitty.

Ok...I put a warning...yeah....

If I were to have another cat, it would be a maine coon.

Fishy pretty much has the description of the Maker Faire. We have a bunch of burning man inspired stuff at this one: the Life Size Mousetrap, the Heart Project (new for 2010), my friend Tom and his Big Dog project, etc.
It's going to be alright.

Hey gang! Been a long week for me at work, and not particularly satisfying. The Devo song "workin' in a coal mine" is going in my head.

Misa, I think you're not getting that "Position Under Super Secret Interior Entrance" is a weak joke. Take the capitol letters... Apologies in advance if I'm spelling out the obvious, but with the language gap - well, I wouldn't want you confused.

In 1984 during the LA olympics, we got tickets to the Yugoslavia vs. W.Germany soccer (excuse me, football) game. The stands were all full of half-drunk, semi-rowdy fans cheering on their teams and just generally shouting for the joy of it. The germans shouted "Slivovice!" at the Yugoslavs and the Yugoslavs shouted back "Weinerschnitzel!"

Every now and then the Yugoslavs would sing their national anthem, of which I remember 2 parts. It starts out "Yugoslavia, Yugoslavia" and in the end it goes "da-de-da-dah, da-de-da-dah, da-de-da-dah MARSHALL TITO!"

Good times.

Anyway, that's what Slivovice reminds me of.

Caution: PLEASE DON'T TRY TO SMUGGLE ANY SLIVOVICE IN YOUR "Position Under Super Secret Interior Entrance"

Careful.
One translation can lead to another.
I've had it happen with americans.

Those big coons need a lot of exercise.

I trained my last cat, Stupid Cat, to walk and heel next to me.
Worked well until some dogs came at him.

I trained him to drink water too, what with cats kidney issues.
After that , he drank so much water people thought he had diabetes or something.
Cats will drink water once they get started.
I don't think clear water seems natural to them.
