Hey, Totally New Here

Post by Kaplow820 » Mon Aug 02, 2010 6:51 pm

Hey Guys!

So this is going to be my first burning man ever, i'm going for my 21st bday, I have an idea on what to expect but I'm already know it's going to soooooo much more.

I can't explain in words how excited I am, and I just hope to meet the coolest people in the world, gathered in one place. I watched every episode of the podcast on the Vanguard's Burning Man Series on iTunes.

This has been a dream of mine, but I can't actually believe it's actually happening. So freakin' stoked!!!! Just can't wait to drive and be greeted by the greeters!

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Happy almost birthday, Kap. It sounds like you did all your prep work for this most amazing adventure. Incredibly enough, nothing can really prepare you and nothing will be like you imagine it will be. As they say, keep an open mind and have no expectations.
See you in less than a month!
Sham....

Meh. The 20s suck. If he had any real brains, he'd go straight to 35.

It's not too early for snark, is it?

Nor from you, your Grandfathered in

I'd hit 29 and stick with that, thereby avoiding a trip to Carousel and finding Sanctuary on the playa.

Greetings Kaplow, welcome to our twisted little world
Excuse me Ma'am, your going to feel a small prick.

WERD! I would not want to do my 20's over again. 35 was my "peak" :)

Snark first. Safety third.

I suppose in the end it's Kaplow's choice.

Kaplow--sometimes my sense of humor runs away with me. If I have hurt you with careless words, I'm sorry.
