What does freethinking mean to you?
Are you personally really open to new ideas or do you just "feel" you are?

And guys and gals:
If there is one response here along the lines of:
Yes, I am raping mother Earth of her natural resources simply for the pleasure of indulging in my own hedonistic and perverse pleasures just for the sake of it, you will have my respect.
Just be honest. You folks are takers. Not givers.
So let's not delude ourselves. Let's party and rape our Mother.

Go to the spring clean-ups and see for yourself! Then you can tear up the playa with your cycles when your done! Id recommend the parts that are still under water! My kid had a blast riding through them!burningquestions wrote:And guys and gals:

My version of freethinking dies not include deciding I didn't like the way an event was held, then complained to participants about how I'd do it and try to force my changes onto others. I'd just go somewhere else and do my own thing. That's why I don't go to Rainbow Gatherings, church, or NASCAR rallies. Not what I want, I don't go and try to remold them.

I dunno. I have a hard time to see someone who's so firmly involved in the "do what I want without any respect for the needs of others" as much of a thinker at all. And this whole gas-burning, forest destroying, quad riding is banal and imitative.

Sorry dude. Maybe I'm missing the point here. But isn't this whole BM exercise about "HEY, LOOK AT ME!!!"stretch80 wrote:Hehehe ...

Um, I think the impairment may be permanent.
Sure succeeded in pissing of many-a folk.
Dumbass!!!
So you're gonna criticize me for standing out in my own rather mundane way?
Here's a smiley test:

Fuck you. Study history. Progressive is not a good word. It is synonymous with communism and the KKK.TomServo wrote:Then ask questions! Don't insult! If you don't like it, don't go! "progressive" generally means more central control of things. In other words, enforcing some vision of how someone thinks things should be and influencing them though regulation rather than simply allowing things to be how they are and influencing things through education.
"progressives" scare me. They generally have this notion of how they want things to be and then begin to herd people in that general direction through rules and regulations. It is sort of "expectation based" rule.
I am more of the classic liberal (not the modern neo-liberal who is really the classical conservative ... government in charge of everything whether it be the king or the Congress).
You are on your own in this world and government should get the hell out of your way.

Thank progressives for the unions. I preffer them to corperate domination. Some people work harder than others.geekster wrote:"progressive" generally means more central control of things.
