Those are yummy.

Looking forward to seeing what you've created, as well as you.

I have maybe one more thing I may whip together, otherwise it's all the stuff from prior years.
It's going to be alright.

I dont know that any of them will come out well. I am a pretty horrible seamstress. But a lot of what I have I bought for 5 dollars or less.

Anything had for less than $5 is a great deal especially if it turns into something you can wear, even if only for one night.
It's going to be alright.

Looking at this "project", I wonder how many good ideas have gone bad when we try to produce them.

reminds me of when I was a kid, and had a pile of popsicle sticks and a pot of paste, and wanted to make a castle. It's nice growing up and learning a few tricks about how to make things by making so many mistakes I guess.

Actually I'm getting crapper and crapper. It took me 30 minutes to get the bobbin string to come up and now when I sew there is three threads instead of two.

Honestly, I am moments from truly giving up. This is not my craft. painting, sure, editing, great, sewing, not a snowballs chance in hell.

Ruined two. I'm onto my third.

yeah I'm not even skilled enough for that. but thank you gh.

I am just not that type of person. I was hoping that maybe I could make something neat. But that does not seem to be in the cards.

It may be something you need some instruction with, or just out of your area.

Don't get discouraged.

Well. at this point finances don't permit me to get a seamstress. so as my mother told me as a child: I am "shit out of luck."

thats not my problem. I have detailed sketches. And they would work. But I think after 8 years o owning a sewing machine and barely being able to use it. Thats a HUGE hint to quit. Like I said, I will just be the uncostumed one. Warm pj's at night and underwear during the day.

I have no clue. Even if it did, at this point, can't affors whatever they might charge and in the end I doubt at this point I'd be able to make anything resonably decent.

Try some instruction.

Maybe you're taking on something that needs a great deal of experience, or just need to know some things you don't know yet?
I find books are rarely comprehensive enough to cover all questions.

Failing that, it may be a skill beyond you.
You should get that from someone helping you though.

There will be others sewing for themselves anywhere.
I can even refer you to some in Dallas.

Dallas is a good drive away. And things I have been trying to do are supposed to be insanely easy. Yet I can not get them to work.

Even if I can find someone to sew them at this point, the problem becomes financing them. Its just not possible. With the move, my car breaking, and my sister surgery being planned, all the extra finances I had are now spent.

I really wanted it to be different and to be able to because I may not get another shot at Burning Man, but this just might end up being what it is.
