Hello out there! Just found out I have the week of burning man off work! I can't believe it! I have wanted to go for years, but I always had school or work. Would love any advice or suggestions. Still looking for a ticket too.
Can't wait!

Hi beatsnotbombs,

Welcome to the ePlaya!!!

I'll start with some suggestions... Go to the Burning Man site and read the Survival Guide (among other things) http://www.burningman.com/preparation/e ... /index.htm . It is important, your very survival is at stake!!! (SERIOUSLY)..

I have noticed many a folk offering tickets up for sale on the eplaya, um, perhaps a quick search may get you what you need.

Ok, practical advice. Expect nothing! It won't be anything close to your pre-conceptions, so just drop em ;) Make sure that you have water, food & shelter... Everything else will fall into place.

See ya on the Playa!

Love Rice

Welcome, you've made a wise choice by joining us in the desert.. Now you just gotta crack that whip and get your things together, not too much time left!!
Sooner or later, it will get real strange...
