Hola, I made a counter with MS Access that counts down to the burn and it runs on my desktop. I need help from someone who knows how and if they can convert this to a .exe (stand alone app) that will not require MS Access...and this can be used for free.
Email me and Ill send you the .MDB file.
Cheers

If you want one that's already made and running, I found a lot of free ones by doing an internet search. The one I picked to use myself is Countdown. You can find it at www.contactplus.com I think. It lets you program in up to 20-25 events, past or future, and then keeps track of the time between the event and now. I plugged in Burning Man, Xmas, my birthday, and a few other things. Burning Man begins in 2 mos 4 days 8 hours 30 minutes and 6 seconds....:0)

Re: one thing
You can change the background on the Countdown one to be something different. So if you have a logo or pix that you want in the background, you can change it to that. I think it's under Options or something to change that stuff.Reeve wrote:the mdb is kinda cool cuz it has a animated logo of the Man and pix of Black Rock City in the background...

You are quite welcome!
Have fun playing with it.. Only 9 more weekends until Burning Man. It's fun to see the different breakdowns of the times (weekends, days, hours, etc). I really like the weekend one. Since most of my Burning Man prep gets done on weekends, it's a good visual to see that August is going to be here very, VERY quickly.
