here's a question> well first, the scenario, then the question.
I was walking out of the grocery store today, looking at the great deals they have on the front shelves, that I always notice AFTER I have bought my groceries! anyway, they had generic 2 liter sodas for 50 cents. I thought, "hey, good deal for Burning Man." Then I wondered what to get, lemon lime, coke, obvious, and Rootbeer. (here's the question) Is rootbeer a mixer, ever? I drank for years and can't think of one thing that I drank with rootbeer. And I wondered, why not? I like rootbeer, it's a soda, Gyre mentioned he uses it in pina coladas? Fill in the blank: Rootbeer and ____________. Thank you for your time.

Elorum...root beer and vanilla vodka tastes like a root beer float. SO good. I also like root beer and spiced rum, they go together really well. It doesn't mix with gin in my opinion. I can see it going pretty well with whiskey.
