New "BRC Weekly" alternative newspaper seeks submi

A unique and distinctive culture emerges from the Burning Man experience. Rooted in the values expressed by the Ten Principles, this culture is manifested around the globe through art, communal effort, and innumerable individual acts of self-expression. To many, it is a way of life.

New "BRC Weekly" alternative newspaper seeks submi

Post by Piss Clear » Tue Jul 13, 2010 3:09 am

From the makers of the now-defunct "Piss Clear," Black Rock City's much-loved alternative newspaper, comes a new playa newsweekly for Burning Man -- the "BRC Weekly."

We are currently accepting submissions for articles, features, etc. Here's what we're looking for:

• Interesting articles and rants
• Comix and photographs
• Items for the Playa Out/In List
• Playa Lingo

Basically, we're looking for pretty much anything you'd find in any other city's alternative newsweekly ... except that it MUST pertain to Black Rock City.

Deadline for submissions is Monday, August 2.

If you'd like to submit something, or for more information, please email Adrian Roberts at: [email protected]

Thanks for the bump Sham!

We're based with Fandango, somewhere around Esplanade & 3:00, so we'll be neighbors with the ePlaya camp-clump. Guess I'll be hand delivering the paper to Booby Bar, the Kantina & Barbie Deathtopia.

Looking forward to reading an actual piece of paper for the news. It's been a while and I hope I don't get a paper cut or anything bad like that. :D
