I'm coming in an RV but.........

Post by Ched » Sat Aug 07, 2010 9:38 pm

Don't judge me just yet!

I too scoff at similar scenarios at other gatherings I have experienced but I now find myself looking from the outside in.

4 mates coming from Aus with baggage limits doesn't allow for the kitchen sink and rentals run scared when you tell them you want the biggest f-off SUV money can rent and it just so happens to fall in with BM!

We decided to forgo the camping experience considering we would be starting from scratch and wanted to enjoy our time en-route to BM.

So when you seasoned campaigners and purists pass an RV of Aussie blokes having a good time, please dont turn your nose up, come and join us for a Bundy!!

Can I also make one thing clear; it is a total coincidence that 4 Aussie 'Hunks' are also coming over from Aus and will be lining up in an RV. Please dont mistake us for them!

RV's are fine- I use one, quite a lot of the posters on here use them, Larry Fucking Harvey uses one.... Just make sure you baffle your generator and, whatever you do and no matter how desperate you are- do not poop in the toilet!!! Trust me, you do not want to live with that smell!

This is a thread you might want to look at for some basic tips on how to use your RV during the week: http://eplaya.burningman.org/viewtopic.php?t=33067

Don't worry, we know not all Aussies are like the "4 hunks", I've even been seen in public talking to some.

For reference, a Bundy is a dark rum.

Not as smooth as havana club gold.....

but not as moonshine as Mount Gay!

We'll be bringing in as much as duty will allow
