So, I've reached a tentative agreement with my employer. I go to BM for two weeks (I'm going early for my theme camp, stop by and say 'Hi' at 4:30 and E, we have a corner spot!), and I don't even have to bring my laptop, as long as I'm accessible by phone in case of emergency.
Now I have to figure out how to make this happen. Does anyone else have a similar arrangement? How do you do it? What if money was no object? I read that some people had phone service last year via AT&T but that it broke down once the gates opened? How would you do this if money was no object?

I rent a Sat Phone when I go. My son's birthday is during BM (Nice timing?), so it's very important for me to call him on his special day.
Anyway, here in Canada it is about $200 for a 12 day period and then air time on top of that. They courier the phone to me the Friday before I leave and I courier it back when I return. The service gives you these great cards to give the people who may need to contact you and they can text you, think there is voice mail too. Comes with all the accessories etc for car, hands free...
The service is spot on, and have never not been able to get a line out.
If your interested, it would be great to share the phone and some of the cost with someone else... PM me if that interests you.
Cheers!
