I don't know what was said to illicit this response, and I'm certain that sexuality is way more complicated than any of us ever expect, but I gotta say that statements like the one that I think inspired that are more ideological than accurate.FaeTora wrote:Though I don't rule out that's there a possibility that one day I might find myelf attracted to men...

Yeah, Texas has been having a hard time with that law because it lets what looks like gay marriages and denies what looks like heterosexual marriage. Then again that depends on your perspective whether or not you see either one as gay or heterosexual marriage. Personally I think the government has bigger fish to fry than two consenting adults wanting to commit to each other.
One of my exes is a FtM. We were together for three years, a year and a half of transition, injections, and surgery. I hear he married his girlfriend. Not sure if he did it in Texas or not or if it is or is not recognized by Texas. But I know for awhile, you could marry in another state and Texas, though it says they won't recognize it, did. Just like in some districts it is easier to have the gender and name on your ID changed than in others. But there are entire websites dedicated to that and I'm going off topic.

This is one of the reasons I am adamantly opposed to defining sexual identity in such limited terms as gay/straight/bisexual. In addition, the confusion of defining is further exacerbated by people who are f2m, m2f, sexually ambiguous, gender bending, or any other of the multitudes of ways we express self/sex/gender as humans. I am attracted to people, men, women, undefined…there can be love and lust between any two people is the chemistry is right.FaeTora wrote:Though I don't rule out that's there a possibility that one day I might find myelf attracted to men
For instance, I watched two of my wonderful friends get married last summer. My friend liz, a sef proclaimed womyn, raging liberal, dyke, lesbian, feminist, and gender bender stood beneath a chupah across from her now husband eric, a fruity, feminine, raver boy and assistant manager of a retail store. They fell in love and built a chemistry, not based on gender or sexual identity, but attraction to a single person, in a single moment. They’re happier than most people I know because they were true to themselves and didn’t let anything else get in the way.
Ok…getting off my soap box…
I just wanted to acknowledge the validity of FT’s statement. :hug
Finally moving to SF...can't WAIT!
That's why I'm pomosexual...ahahahahahaha...(it's a label for people who refuse to be labeled). Today turned into a day of talking about sexuality. First this then my nephew called and asked me when and how I knew I was gay. This of course led to the real reason he called, a concern/questioning of his own sexuality. I told his the truth. Its all a specrum, find where you are happy. You only get this one life, there is no point in being unhappy.
