Not Going? What Are You Doing Instead?

So, you’re not going to Burning Man this year…….Then what are you doing with yourself?
I’ll go first…………..

I’m not going back to Burning Man until 2011……….so, what am I doing instead? I have my art project for the playa all planned……….I’m in year 6 of my 4 year plan to paint my house…..and I’ll finish if it ever stops raining…

So, not going…….what are you doing?

Money is the biggest reason I may not go this year.

IF, and I mean IF I go, I'll be default bound Friday morning cuz Friday the 3rd, is our 22nd wedding anniversery....so kinda have anniversery type plans for that afternoon.

I'm up...

Saving $$$ and vacation days to fly east coast for our 30th later in October. We want to see more of the world and we figured we should start in our backyard 1st. And now in the last few weeks a simple Bday for my sister's 60th, has now blown into a 25-30 person reunion @ our place... Flatlander, you coming down for that?
I will be lighting the backyard firepit Friday and burn night.. 8) :shock: 8)

Don't bring defaultia to Burning Man, take Burning Man to defaultia...... graidawg

Nedfest- a low key music fest in the mountains of Colorado,near the old Caribou recording studio (Elton John-Caribou, Supertramp-Even in the Quietest Moments were recorded there).

I will be spending the Labor Day weekend painting my house….I’m in year 6 of the 4 year plan to paint my house and should be finished soon……….unless………my wife drags me to a family Labor Day picnic or some sorry ass thing like that…………

Hey Ug-Doug, I checked with everybody, and I can't find a single person not going. It appears that you will be home all by yourself.

Tell me, what could be so important that you have to miss this once in a lifetime event?

I'll be here if you need simeone's shoulders to cry on. Actually I may be back in the desert hosting the annual "Not Burning Man" event, i'm looking at properties now, and if one comes into fruition the party will be on.
