Blue In Seattle

Post by BlueInSeattle » Thu Aug 12, 2010 7:07 pm

Greetings. I'm a 2nd-time burner this year. In the default world I'm an IT professional.

During my first burn I went down loosely with a group of friends, built my own geodesic dome (not the best, but still pretty good), and prepared pretty damn well.

Ended up volunteering slinging ice at Ice-9 several mornings in a row, and got to know the good folks working there.

Going down with a group of some more virgins this year, helping support a loosely themed camp (SP.E.C.T.R.E.). Also, volunteering officially with Ice-9 again.

I look forward to seeing you all on the playa this year!

Stop by Ice-9 in the mornings, or by SP.E.C.T.R.E. (~8:45 & Edinburgh) and say "Allo!"

My partner and I usually do a couple of Ice Shifts too, he slings and I cashier.

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

All those references to "loosely" remind me of my lower GI tract problems...but that can wait for another day.
Don't bore your friends with all your troubles. Tell your enemies instead, for they will delight in hearing about them.

In 9 days we'll be in Eugene at this time, 10 days and we'll be in Alturas at this time.

See you out there! (If you can't tell, we're excited)
