4 virgins in a 40' RV looking for a cool camp
We can offer brownies, s'mores, cooling refreshments and cooling mist, campfires, some cold food storage, LOTS of laughs and fun.
Any idea where would be a cool place to stay and how do we reserve a spot? We won't be arriving until very early Thursday morning.
Thanks for helping out us poor virgins!

There is no reservations on the camping except for the designated areas for theme camps. You can camp in any free spot you find.likemike2121 wrote:We can offer brownies, s'mores, cooling refreshments and cooling mist, campfires, some cold food storage, LOTS of laughs and fun.

Mmmm s’mores!
Don’t worry about finding a camp. Your neighbors will gratefully accept your offerings, and maybe they have some milk to go with the s’mores.
FYI, no fires on the ground. You’ll need a burn barrel or portable pit. If you have those then your neighbors will be extra grateful.

Sounds like it might be. Here's a link I found on the Burning Man website about burning on the playa. It doesn't address the issue of make and model, but it advises what to burn and what not to, and that your burn structure must be "elevated, staked down, attended and cleaned up."
And it has a few links:

Bring bikes if you can; like someone said, it can be hard to find room for an RV close to the middle of everything later in the week, so you might be a ways away from the center. But being close to the Esplanade (unless you're a theme camp) is--to me--overrated.
Y'all sound like nice people. Welcome . . .

Also, (now that you're over the first hurdle) you must pack out your ashes. Which means no fire during the last 24 hours so all the embers die out.
(No, really, I'm not picking on you. I'm just using you as an example for other people who might start wanting a fire at burningman.)

Nice rig you're coming in with! Maybe check out Orphan Camp and it's vicinity. Theme camps are pretty locked in with RVs, cars and tents in the inner rings by Thursday.
@ Velociraftor; who queried about s'mores.......I guess we automatically think that our overseas burners know about them. Yummy stuff....

Besides the s'mores (which are melted marshmallow combined with Hershey's chocolate and graham crackers...for the benefit of our friend from Ireland), hang out a sign that says:
FREE AIR CONDITIONING...C'MON IN!

Don't bore your friends with all your troubles. Tell your enemies instead, for they will delight in hearing about them.
