If it has more than three wheels, it has to have a dmv permit, even when it is very bikey.

We're not invited to apply as a MV (see this thread: http://eplaya.burningman.org/viewtopic. ... 258#563258), but we might go for a nighttime permit if I can get the EL wire and Incredibly Stupid Number of Large Chinese Strobe Lights wired up in time.

Looking forward to having people interact with us in our Artery-assigned location, which from what I've read, may be far superior to having to drive around sober looking out for drunks.

Ummm... the MV invite is to get a Day and/or a Night MV permit. How can you get a night lic with out getting a MV invite in the first place?

Uhh ... Prayer? Bribery? Guilt trip? Throwing self on the mercy of the DMV hotties? Bribery?

FWIW, our original proposal didn't have all the radical-lighting bells-and-whistles, so this'll be a hail-mary at best.

FWIW, my chair has been to the playa twice and when it went in for servicing in June, there were no questions of "How did it get so corroded?"
