Especially #3 from what I've heard...
My wife and I have been walking the local trails, usually 3 or 4 times a week for 4 or 5 miles (shorter during the week due to work schedules) at about a 15 or 16 min/mile pace. Hoping that will has us in shape for the playa this year. It's her first burn so I'm hoping it makes a difference for her.
We're also taking vitamins and watching our diets so that we're generally healthy at the start of the burn at least. All bets are off once we hit the playa of course.
