Bike rack in airline luggage?

Bike rack in airline luggage?

I imagine there are fair amount of others flying in, renting a car, and getting bikes from kiwanis.. does anyone bring a bike rack with them on a plane? or i guess i may be better off just picking one up in reno? if anyone has found this super compact bike rack, please let me know =]

In an emergency situation, you could always put a thick blanket over the roof and then strap it down with some ratchet straps from Lowe's.. I've done it.
