Utility Trailer Delivery

Post by MissNev » Thu Aug 19, 2010 1:19 am

Our camp has arranged for someone to drive our utility trailer out on Sunday morning. Can our driver deliver our trailer to our camp and then leave?

As long as he has a early entry pass, and a ticket in hand, yes.
We have an obligation to make space for everyone, we have no obligation to make that space pleasant.

OED is correct yet terse so I muse further

They changed the rules for this year. No delivery without buying a ticket, non-refundable.

Best bet you meet them at gate with a truck, swap out the trailer and tow in the last 5 miles yourself.

:D
Or.... Since MissNev perhaps does not have a truck, it might work better to swap drivers at the gate, with the delivery driver waiting outside? (Make sure about stick shift, if applicable.)

She's got a truck. They hauling the art car with it.

I read that in her other thread.

But the swap drivers is a great and simple idea.
