Pre-Burn Nightmares?

The dreams have def been ramping up, mostly positive. Did have a "nightmare" though.

Got into the burn and realized we had no beer

Drove back into Fernley to get some, noticed I was naked, and then the truck broke down.

Last night I had a dream that was not so much a nightmare, more like a good reminder for myself. It was late in the week, and I realized that I had not introduced myself and gotten to know my neighbors as much as I was intending to. So I went over and talked to this guy who had made a gigantic bass guitar which he could control with a regular sized bass guitar. He could play songs and the giant bass would could then be automated to play those songs back later. It was, to put it poetically, freakin' awesome.

I've had pre-burning man dreams. Some awesome... others not so much. I do get anxiety pre burn every year. I guess I think of all things that can go wrong. I worry I've over hyped myself. At some point I find some type of calming medium. After that it's all good.

No nightmares but definitely dreams, one or two a year randomly and a few more than that this time of year.

Usually it revolves around trying to find a camp spot but it's an indoor event and I'm wondering why the fuck I even want to be there. Except the one dream I had a few weeks back about the Starsky and Hutch car driving 100 mph through center camp and just seeing people flying off the hood and thinking at least DPW is finally doing god's work.[/img]

Last night I dreamt we got early in, but we had to park in a parking lot and walk over to the camps. There was grass and trees and concrete curbs, and the hippie kids were trying to take our spot. I was worried about the tree roots poking up through the tent. We had to borrow a map and a WWW, didn't get them at greeters. The sticker had been replaced by a temp tattoo of a pink Batman head. I started to freak out, we'd forgotten the cooler full of drinks, the beer, and the biscuits. Biscuits?

But our handsome friend, who I did not know, was very excited about the Lovely Dress party. ???

Had a dream-mare that BM was being held at a small campground called Morgan Lake (about 4 miles out of town). We took our time getting ready, (cause'...well, it's only 5 minutes away

). The dream turned when we walked into a shop to get camp supplies, an "Anti-Gravity" store nonetheless---floated around trying to grab things off the shelf, but just kept slowly bouncing off things and ended up being two days late to arrive

I've had bizarre vivid Burning Man dreams the past three nights. I love it!

I've had others throughout the years since my last burn, but never night after night after night.

Once I dreamed I went to Burning Man with the Simpsons...

Last year I had the worst nightmare possible: Arriving at the gate with no ticket. This year (knock wood) no nightmares, just WTF moments "Why did this camp pave the inside of their shade structure? A slab of concrete surely counts as moop, doesn't it?"

Now, I've never even been before and I have been having LOADS of crazy weird dreams about burning man. Not all are nightmares, those that are usually involve being very thirsty dry and dusty. I wonder how the real thing will compare to what my imagination has created.
