Greetings. I'll be leaving from Michigan about 5 days before the start of BM and returning a week or two after the event. I have a skoolie (converted school bus) that runs on used veggie oil.
If you live between here and there you're welcome to tag along.
did i mention there is an 8 person jacuzzi in the bus??

Too bad our timing's off.....I'm leaving Kazoo on Fri or Sat preBurn.....I'll be lookin' for you on the road, though. When do you expect to get Home? Will you have to stop at every Chicken Shack and Long John Silver's along the way to fuel up? What does that Jacuzzi do when you hit the brakes?

Howdy From Kalamazoo
Kzoo isn't too far from here,,,,i'm near flint.
I plan to attend the Woodward Dream Cruise (3rd sat in august), then take off the next day for BM. I'm takin 24 days off of work, and plan to be gone until time or money runs out. I'd like to take I 80 to get to bm, but come home throug the north. I want to see some of the sites while i'm out and about.
As far as fuel. I plan to cary 120 gallons of veggie + 40 gallons of dino-diesel. That's enough for about 1,300 miles. I'm sure i'll be able to find places along the way to replenish the veggie supply. Restaurants usually keep the waste veggie oil in large 300-400 gallon containers. If all else fails, i can always burn dino-diesel. I think it's about 2,232 miles from here to Gerlach NV.
As far as the water sloshing......
The jacuzzi holds about 400 gallons of water. I put half the water in holding tanks before i drive, that takes about 3 minutes. When i get to the destination, i fill the hot tub back to it's proper level. I heat the water with engine coolant.
